Lotus is considered one of the slowest depreciating performance sports cars for sale in Australia.  Resale values for a Lotus Sports Car are generally quite strong due to their rarity in Australia.

Based on RedBook, a 2011 Lotus Elise SC 111 (Aug) with a RRP of $77,990 when new, is holding a private price guide of between $42,700 – $47,000 or nearly 62% of its original value after 6 years. 

a 2010 Lotus Exige S Manual MY10 with a RRP of $104,990 when new, is holding a private price guide of between $46,300 – $51,100 or nearly 50% of its original value after 7 years.

Owners are achieving much better values though, using the Exige as an example a review of carsales.com.au listings** shows a small number of Lotus Exige models for sale, ’05-’07 models, less than 50,000km travelled, available for sale between $60-$90K.
