Simply Sports Cars Lotus Melbourne held another Driving Academy session at Philip Island Grand Prix Circuit this month in partnership with Evolve Driver Training. We had another large group of Elise, Exige & Evora owners getting track day driver coaching. Under glorious blue skies every driver had plenty of time on the circuit with in-car coaching as well as follow up debriefs in the pit area between sessions.

This is the best way to learn how to drive a sports car on a race track because the level of coaching is suited to each driver’s experience. It is ideal for people who have been thinking about taking their car onto a circuit, but been a little bit nervous. There is plenty of track day time during the day to slowly build up speed and confidence including in-car tuition where an experienced instructor provides real-time feedback out on the circuit.

Once you return to the pits Mark & the team are on hand to debrief, compare notes & help with each driver’s progress during the day. The perfect way to learn step by step to get the most out of your sports car.

"I had a fantastic first track day, thank you Simply Sports Cars Lotus Melbourne & team"
