The CEL eliminator is an adaptor that spaces the post Cat O2 sensor a little further from the exhaust stream so that it is not so sensitive. Modified mufflers or exhaust manifolds can cause CELs as the exhaust  flow rate is higher.

The second O2 sensor is located after the Catalytic Converter. The purpose of this O2 sensor is to ensure that there is a functioning catalytic converter in the system. The way it detects this is by the difference in exhaust gasses between the first O2 sensor and the second. If the same exhaust reading is detected, then the ECU thinks that there is either a damaged Catalytic Converter or no Catalytic Converter. The ECU will then trigger a Check-Engine Light.

SSC developed this mechanical solution so that the sensor maintains its function while not triggering exhaust flow related Check Engine Lights.

Easy to fit - Remove diffuser and use 7/8" open ended spanner or shifter.
